This is one year post graduate certificate program which is available @ the College level. When the student graduates Advertising Management program he will have completed a one-year, in-depth immersion in the planning, strategic development and execution of professional advertising. He will be confident of his abilities and ready to immediately contribute to a professional advertising team.
Through hands-on learning experiences with professors who are well experienced in the advertising industry, he will master critical thinking skills so he can analyze and solve complex marketing challenges. The scope of his advertising classes prepares him to work not only in a Canadian ad agency, PR firm or internal marketing group, but also internationally.
The Advertising Management Graduate Certificate program focuses on equipping the candidate to:

Animation
Computer Annimation: It is a one year program. Student will learn to communicate, using computer animation as his instrument. During eight months of intensive hands-on training, he will work with the same high-end 3-D computer animation software, technology, and techniques the professionals use ? but he will also learn:

- Art direction
- Production design

Applicants must be competent in Adobe Photoshop and Windows or the Macintosh
Operating Systems. Applicants will be expected to have these competencies prior

Visual Effects
Features of the Program
This is a one year program which develops a highly marketable computer animation specialty.
This intensive, specialized two-semester program prepares student to step directly
into a career producing VFX for movies, television, advertising, video games,
and Web applications.
Designed for working computer animators and/or computer animation school
graduates, the digital visual effects program focuses on both the conceptual and
technical aspects of VFX. Working with professional-grade equipment in the
Sheridan Centre for Animation and Emerging Technologies (SCAET), one is able to
produce a portfolio of advanced VFX work that includes:
- Synthetic worlds and simulated natural environments
- Animated VFX within live-action film
- Seamless matches for lighting, texture, and camera moves

- Gain basic coding skills in HTML, CSS, and Action script
- Make connections with web design professionals, including Sheridan faculty and alumni

The portfolio should consist of digital work submitted on CD, or URLs of digital
work, and/or 15-20 samples of non-digital work on 35mm slides. The questionnaire
assesses suitability for a professional career in Web design and outlines
